Building a Biofilm Model from a Confocal Microscope Stack
Build a Model
The ten images, Frame 1 through Frame 10, in the next section represent different layers in a biofilm, from the base of the biofilm to the top, respectively. These images were constructed from a confocal microscope, a special tool that can capture images at different levels in a biofilm. Your instructor will guide you in the creation of a styrofoam image reconstruction of the original biofilm.
